Public Speaking: COOL COLOR COMMENTARY

Flip Chart Color

=> Black, blue and green inks have the best visibility.

=> Blue is probably the most pleasing color to take a look at with crimson coming in second (observe: pleasing to take a look at and visibility are not the same)

=> Don't do the whole chart in purple ink.

=> Keep away from purple, brown, pink and yellow inks.

=> Permanent markers give essentially the most vivid colour but dry out quicker when you go away the cap off. Additionally they steadily bleed via to the following page. Neglect trying to get the ink out of your clothes.

=> Water colors are less vivid and squeak while you write. Ink will wash out of clothing.

Use Color Thoughtfully

=> Use bright colours for small graphics to make them stand out.

=> Use refined colours for large graphics so they do not overwhelm.

Use Coloration Psychologically

In keeping with Greg Bandy in Multimedia Presentation Design for the Uninitiated certain colors evoke sure emotions.

=> RED = Brutal, Harmful, Sizzling, Stop!

=> DARK BLUE = Stable, Reliable, Calm

=> LIGHT BLUE = Cool, Refreshing

=> GRAY = Integrity, Impartial, Mature

=> PURPLE = Regal, Mysterious

=> GREEN = Organic, Wholesome, New life, Go Money

=> ORANGE / YELLOW = Sunny, Bright, Warm

=> WHITE (if I make the instance white you couldn't see it) = Pure, Hopeful, Clear

=> BLACK = Serious, Heavy, Worthwhile, Death Since "dying" is a fairly heavy approach to end this section, I will give you a reference to seek out out extra about excellent visual design.
