Public Speaking Visuals: FILL 'EM UP

When you challenge a photo or different picture during a public speaking engagement, fill up the slide, or overhead as much as possible. This does not mean to fill the projection with a lot of text. This tip only applies to images. Example: You take a picture of a funny sign on a pole. The sign is simply about 18 inches tall. In case you zoom in on the sign in order that it fills the frame, it would have a much larger impression on the audience.

In the sample under the same piece of clip artwork has a totally totally different affect and impact as a result of it fills the frame. When talking in public, don't forget the impact of your visuals.
