Once you rise up in front of that viewers, you’re going to be really nervous.

Poor audio system pay little or no attention to their viewers as people. Massive mistake.

In case you can see your audience as a group of people, you’ll be much more likely to attach with these individuals.

Begin wanting round your audience. See that large man with his arms folded and an ‘impress me’ look on his face? Best not to have a look at him too much. How about that lady with the big smile, looking encouragingly in the direction of you? OK, that’s your mom, she doesn’t count. However that different lady with an analogous smile is somebody you don’t know. But any more she’s your ‘friend’. Each time that you just want any encouragement, look in her direction. Make good eye contact. Establish a form of communication between you.

And now you’ve discovered one ‘friend’, you’ll start to see others in the audience. Pick out ‘friends’ all around the room. For those who see an ‘impress me’ individual and get discouraged, swap your view back to one of your ‘friends’.

Once you're aware that there are folks in your audience who need you to succeed, you’ll be more likely to succeed.
